I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a National Counselling Society (NCS) Accredited Counsellor working with both individuals and couples. I have worked and trained in both the UK and Guernsey, where I have lived for 30 years.
I hold, a level 5 Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, an Honours Degree in Psychology and English, a National Council for Psychotherapists accreditation in couples counselling and a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance.
I have volunteered as a Counsellor for the Guernsey Bereavement Service and supported students working towards counselling skills qualifications.
I have extensive experience working in education and health in counselling-related roles. I am a qualified Careers Advisor
I work to the highest ethical standards and practice as laid down by my professional body which places integrity, client welfare and confidentiality at the centre of my work and I receive regular supervision from a specially trained off island Counsellor to ensure these standards are adhered to at all times. Accreditation from the NCS and registered membership of the BACP indicates a high level of training as well as a commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
